Lakshmi Shobane was written by the maha rishi Shri shri Vadhiraj. This
Lakshmi shobane is like a mangal sutra for all sumangali’s (married women). Lakshmi
Shobane is considered to be a weapon for raksha (protection) which has to be chanted
every day in every house. For scholars,
this is considered to be sheersagar that gives knowledge as amrita.
The meaning of Lakshmi
Shobane was translated by Smt. Saraswathy Sripathy in Tamil (which has been
translated into English by us) taken from the book Lakshmi Shobane (Bhavi
Sameera Srimadh Vadhiraja Swamigalu).

The people who were
present in suyamvara are Brahma the one was away from lust for women. Lord
Shiva the one who had more wish for women ran behind Mohini, Indira who

an awareness to lead a discipline life and to make the world a better place.

There is one similarity in Dharmaraj and Vayu. Eventhough he follows dharma and known as yamadharmaraj, he doesn’t have good qualities as his name suggests. That’s because he doesn’t show mercy on people, instead goes on killing them. Vayu belonging to parasukla dhrya follows dharma, even though in hell he kills people [these details are in vayustuti] by kicking them on vital parts (marma sthana). Both of them follow Vishnu’s order, hence it’s not considered as sin.

(Mahabali had an aggressiveness of Kala Bali (one of the asuras), which was not considered for moksha. Therefore he was not eligible for moksha).

Lord narayana laso got a name as “Shimshumara Moorthy” which means Scorpion. He has such a physic similar to scorpion. He stands upside down, having all planets,stars with him. This Shumshumara deva decides the lifespan for Lord Bramha, Lord Narayana is eternal, therefore vedas say Mahalakshmi as ‘nitya Sumangali’ who looks at all these devars who are not eternal. (Goddess Lakshmi is nityasumangali only if she marries Lord Narayana who is immortal).

not bound to any kind of such features.
(Bramha, Vayu, Bharathi, Saraswathy doesn’t have ignorance, fear, sorrow,
because they know the difference between body and soul, still they will not
match Lord Vishnu).

Their fears are always out of respect and Bakthi, not
like the fear what asura’s have). Lord Narayana is the one
who gave Amurtha to all devatha’s, not only during churning
period of Paalasagara (Milky ocean), he gives it always
through Vedha sasthra’s. He also gives power to Devatha’s
to grasp the knowledge of Vedha’s. Lord Narayana
is the only independent person, hence Mahalakshmi
considers only him.

During Pralaya period, Lord Narayana destroys and
swallows everything including Devas, Rishis. He creates,
saves and destroys with his will power for the goodwill
of Jeevathma’s. He does not get any sin’s or Dosha’s
due to this. As he is the supreme of everything,
does not keep Siva Linga in pupil leave post complete
Pralaya.
Sri Vathi Raja Swamy mentioned this here, because, few
people argue that Lord Rama worshiped Siva Linga
in Rameshwara to clear his sin by killing Ravana.
That is not true, As Lord Rama is an incarnation of
Lord Narayana, he cannot get any sin’s by any of his
actions, so he does not have to worship anyone to clear
his sins. The reason why he placed
Siva linga in Rameshwara is: Shiva cut one of Bramha’s
heads (Actually Bramha had 5 heads and Shiva cut one,
so he became four headed).
Due to this action, Shiva got Bramha HAthya Dosha. That will be
cleared if Shiva sees “Rama Sethu”. To clear his Dosha’s, Rama
placed Shiva Linga in Rameshwara.

humors, so nothing would have affected

Lord Krishna incarnation is to destroy the asuras. As he killed many ausras including boothana, no one asura dares to enter Gokula. Hence to make the asuras come to his place, he decided to change his place to brindavan. With each of his hair, Lord Krishna created animals (wolves) to migrate Gokula people from their place to Brindavan. The same way how he created wolves, Krishna would have given birth to each 10 babies for those 16000 women, not like a normal Human being. Lord Mahalakshmi states that, those who knows and understands this truth are getting eligible for moksha.

Lord Mahalakshmi challenges and asks the people not to shout, those who say Lord Narayana is bound and will be impacted by sin and sorrows.

(here ladies are inviting Shri Narayana to occupy their chair as well as their heart).

The Muthathairus call Shri Krishna to be seated on the chair happily. (During pralaya Lakshmi Narayana were united. When the newlywed couple remembers Lakshmi Narayana of this period they will never face separation; therefore Shri Vadhirajar has included this verse here. In the previous verse kuMjaravaradAyakane bA he makes us to remind gajendra. As per tatparya Narayana will always help people who follow and love him through bhakti (similar to gajendra), and have less wish for the material world).

Here Indra is specified as Vishnu’s elder brother. That is because, while Krishna incarnated as Upendra, he was born to Athithi and KAshyapa. While Narayana comes to Sudharma Sabha which is Indra’s house, everyone prays Lord Narayana through Shiva who is husband of Uma devi (it is good to pray through elders). Being in mother-in-laws position, those rivers and all Deva sthrees including Saraswathi, Barathi etc have showered akshadha and praise on the bridegroom. Though those rivers and deva sthrees are assumed as mother-in-law of Sri Narayana, they cannot be mother of Mahalakshmi in reality as Mahalakshmi is not having birth or death.

All devas are born from Lord Narayana; Surya from eyes, Indra from face, Agni from tongue. While Lord Narayan is happily talking to Mahalakshmi, he feels Agni has to be kept safe on his tongue, so he creates a yaga out of that agni (which resides in his tongue). Lord Narayana being outside the Agni and also inside the Agni, he gives Aahuti (Aahuti means sacrifice. Whenever there is yaga, something needs to be dropped inside (sacrificed into) that Yaga Agni). Lord Narayana provides Aahuti on behalf of all the Deva’s to keep them safe.

Lord Narayana knows that Asuras will not accept to share Amirtha with Devas, so he disguised as Beautiful lady Mohini to get the Amirtha back from Asuras and to share it to Deva’s.

Shri Vadirajaru therefore, depicts - While churning the ocean Shri Mahalakshmi comes out of the ocean, sees everyone and finds
